Jon Sims

Composer | Orchestrator | Copyist

Jon is a Welsh composer who has worked alongside numerous BAFTA, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning composers, contributing to projects as a composing assistant, orchestrator, and copyist.

Some of his screen credits include Good Omens (Amazon Prime), The Harder They Fall (Netflix), Young Woman and the Sea (Disney) and Mr Burton (BBC).

In addition to his screen work, Jon has collaborated with a range of iconic artists, including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Dua Lipa, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.

Jon released his debut EP Realm in 2024; it is available on all streaming platforms.

Jon has worked as an orchestrator, copyist and composing assistant for a number of years and has a range of listed credits. He has recorded at various studios across London and abroad, including Air Studios, Abbey Road and Synchron Stage Vienna.

Jon’s experience and varied project portfolio has developed his keen eye for detail as well as exceptional time management and organisation skills, maintaining professional standards throughout projects.
